BREATHE
BREATHE was my first short film project after graduating from college. This film about the struggles of black hair helped me launch my career as a filmmaker. It was created with a budget of less than $1,500 and a handful of connections. Despite being my first project, I was able to learn about leadership, autonomy, assertiveness and being creative with what I have. and it has encouraged me to create more and improve in my craft.
Director’s Note
I'm grateful to have been able to film in my high school, Louis-Riel. The school that saw me grow.

What Do You Want To Eat For Dinner?
I was honored to have such a great team to assist me with this film. Working on such a big project in a foreign country came with a lot of challenges, finances being the first one. But thankfully, through crowdfunding and connections, I was able to create a warm film that has impacted the Japanese and international audience that viewed my short film.
Director’s Note
I was able to work on this film with people from different continents. Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. This project made me realize that language barriers can be broken when we don't treat them like barriers.

Black History Month
This was my first time directing a photoshoot of such magnitude. Working on this photoshoot made me see what can happen when you have a good team to work with. It was my first time seeing the results of something that was simply an idea in my head and became a reality thanks to the people I collaborated with.
Director’s Note
Til this day, I'm thankful to my classmates from college who took their time to help me create these amazing photos. This experience has helped me learn and grow as a director.
